ANZ Viaduct Events Centre, Auckland
Auckland’s ANZ Viaduct Events Centre, which was completed in 2011, is sited at the eastern edge of Wynyard Precinct, the city’s exciting new waterfront development area. ANZ Viaduct Events Centre has 6,000 square metres of exhibition, meeting and hospitality space, and offers spectacular views of the Waitemata Harbour. Conference presentations, lectures and rapid-fire Pecha Kucha talks will take place on the building’s spacious ground floor, as will the Industry Exhibition.
Access is easy for delegates and the Events Centre benefits from its proximity to the amenities offered in the Wynyard Precinct and the Viaduct, including the cafés and restaurants along North Wharf. One neighbouring building is the New Zealand Architecture Medal-winning ASB North Wharf; Silo Park, further to the west, is another point of interest. To the east, some of Auckland’s best accommodation and entertainment venues are a few minutes walk away, across Te Wero pedestrian bridge.
Most importantly, the ground floor of the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre, where the conference will take place, is a comfortable and generous space that can successfully accommodate the formal and informal encounters that the conference exists to promote.
